I think taupe over dark beige for an every day bag. I think it’d be easier to deal with color . I am looking to get my first YSL purchase - the Lou Camera bag! I am torn . I think taupe over dark beige for an every day bag. I think it’d be easier to deal with color transfer. You have a neutral bag that isn’t black and it’s not as fussy as a light color. I am looking to get my first YSL purchase - the Lou Camera bag! I am torn between the dark beige with gold hardware or the black with the silver hardware. I know it’s personal preference but I can’t decide between the two.

Just got my medium envelope today from Selfridges in the new season dark beige color. I hadn’t seen it in person before and I find that it’s more of a taupe grey,rather than a beige.. Are sea salt and dark beige the same color?
YSL does color very well, and there are some colors and hardware you’ll love and some you won’t, and it could be difficult to tell online. It’s so helpful to be in a store where you can try on several bags colors and styles at once. A couple of things to consider: 1) The black and gold has a high contrast with a very visible YSL logo. The beige and gold has a much lower contrast, with the YSL logo looking more inconspicuous and more subtle. Looking for alternatives to the YSL Toy LouLou bag. While I do like it, I'm not totally sold on it. Really like YSL's dark beige and taupe colorways with gold hardware, but I would prefer a bag with minimal branding and not the huge "YSL" logo on the front. The colour of this small loulou called dark beige. I wouldn’t say it’s all that dark at all though. It’s a great neutral without being so light that I’d to worry about colour transfer. Depending on what colours I wear it with it can look more neutral or a bit pinkish.
I wanted to film this video to show off the Saint Laurent Small Lou Lou bag in taupe, talk about some common qua. I have a micro belt bag in Light Taupe which I love. Lately the YSL Small Loulou in dark beige and gold hardware has been catching my eye. but do you guys think they are too similar to justify the purchase? Or would they be appropriate for different situations? Thanks for any responses! •••
