We got a chance to go hands on with the new Panerai PAM753 and PAM754 Radiomir Logo Dial pieces in our latest review. Theses are my options: 753, new, has solid case back which I like, list for about 4k USD. 610, new, says 8 days on the dial (minor bummer), list for 5.6k USD, discounts available. 210, used, sandwich dial. OP just came out with a mid-July surprise of 3 new models: 753, 754 & 779. The 753 strikes me as the Perfect modern Rad..even if the logo isn't "traditional" on a Rad, it looks great, IMHO. First reaction to this one: :lov: :lov: :lov: . Also my first manual, and I’m a little nervous! Can I hurt it? The Panerai manual tells you almost nothing. Any dos and don’ts?
The next lowest price Panerai model is the Luminor 3 Days Base Logo. It has the same snap case back, and P.6000 movement. MSRP is 00CAD, which is 0CAD more than the 753. Having spent a ton of money on watches lately, saving 00 is very attractive to me. I also marginally prefer the 753 dial or the 610, simply because it has the Logo.

There was a relatively short period, at least for the 753/754, though far too long if you ask most Paneristis, but Panerai no longer uses snap-back caseback IIRC. The actual story here is that Panerai has fitted a modern movement to each of these new watches, with both the 753 and the 754 using Panerai's in-house, hand-wound P.6000 calibre. With 72 hours of power reserve, these new models fall into Panerai's ever-expanding "3 Day" lineup of watches.Panerai Introduces Two New Entry Level Radiomirs – PAM753 & PAM754.
