I've been meaning to buy one of the Dior Sauvage line perfumes for a while now but I've read a lot of negative comments regarding the newer batches disappointing the customers a lot. Is it worth buying it in 2022?

I got the 200 ml sauvage edt my batch code is 2N1X and for those who claim formula code of edt hasn’t changed, No it has! Formula code has changed to N 16097, which implies reformulation. Very disappointed with the performance, perhaps will go for the edp or completely avoid dior sauvage imo On average, the latest batches of Dior Sauvage last for 7-9 hours, and projection is really good for the first 3 hours. Sillage is also very strong, and the scent will definitely stay in the air after you. In the first days of Sauvage EDT, this thing was out of this world, lasting over 10 hours and projecting for at least 5 hours.

Batch variations will change how the fragrance smells despite having the same formula code. This could be because of either intentional tweaking based on customer feedback, or unintentional changes due to the naturals being different from batch to batch. I just recently bought Sauvage EDP (Batch Oct 2022). I’ve heard that the batch 2020 till now has been reformulated; Should I be worried about it’s performance such as projection, longevity etc.
