So i bought a silix case and tools to try my first reshaping. Lug hole drilled with 1,5mm drill bit. Silly crown tube removed, mid case drilled to 3,5mm, then tapped to accept . I am in the throes of gathering parts for a 6538 build and have started with a Helenarou 2 line gilt dial re-lumed by Big Dazza. As the dial is Helenarou I presumed I would be using a Helenarou case but I have heard good things about .
Should i go for a Rolex timepiece from Silix in the ~ range or should i wait and shell out for one of Narikaa's watches? As of now i'll be going for the DayDate ROL120 watch priced @ . Any major flaws with this model? As I like to build watches, I decided in a Silix case with a Raffaildial dial and ETA movement. This build isn't one of my favourite achievements. The dial was too pale, and I made too many changes to the case.

The cases needed to be drilled first and then needed to be tapped to accept the crown. . Since the daytona plexi is domed but lower, it makes up almost perfectly for the fact that the silix case holds the plexi much higher. No gap and no spacecraft looking dome. The optics are excellent too.
