MARLEN: The sweetness is much more pronounced in Intense with the added tonka bean while the sandalwood and leather notes (neither smoky nor buttery) add some substance, albeit in support of the tonka. It is by far the best performing, but due to its density and performance it's the least versatile. I'd say L'homme is more versatile(day/night/office/multi season) & probably favored by more ladies. Intense is more interesting, mature, & strikes me as more of a night scent. (I haven't worn intense yet, just initial impressions).
