This post is to document a problem with my watch and hopefully get some feedback to prevent this from happening again to me or someone else. In December I purchased a New Navitimer Montbrillant Olympus. I have used the chronograph feature several times since I bought it and found it working perfectly.
I bought my Navitimer 3 weeks ago, and I pretty much just slapped it on without even reading the manual (oops). When I got it, the salesman set the time so I never bothered looking at the manual. I wore it every other day or so, but at one point I didn't wear it for 3 days. The good news is the watch is repairable if you're dedicated enough. Parts from Breitling ar no longer available for this model so your only recourse is to find a donor movement. They do appear occasionally on ebay but don't hold your breath.
